I build production AI agents, web scrapers, and automation pipelines. Most of what I publish here comes from the actual problems they run into: proxies that get banned, anti-bot stacks that fingerprint your client, RAG that drifts when the underlying data moves. Stack: Python, TypeScript, Go, FastAPI, LangChain, Crawlee, Playwright, deployed on AWS, GCP, and Cloudflare.

DataImpulse sells four proxy products, all pay-as-you-go with traffic that never expires: residential at $1/GB subject to change · verified 2026-11-06, datacenter at $0.50/GB subject to change · verified 2026-11-06, mobile at $2/GB subject to change · verified 2026-11-06 and premium residential at $5/GB (verified on dataimpulse.com, 6 November 2026). There are no monthly subscriptions, no bandwidth resets and no per-IP products.

Quick Answer

DataImpulse prices every product per GB, pay-as-you-go, and purchased traffic never expires (verified November 2026): residential $1/GB (drops to $0.80/GB at the 1 TB tier), datacenter $0.50/GB ($0.45/GB at 1 TB), mobile $2/GB ($1.60/GB at 1 TB) and premium residential $5/GB ($4/GB from 1,000 GB). Country targeting is included on every product; city, state, ZIP, ASN and geohash targeting are billed at double the standard rate. The minimum order is $5, and a 7-day refund policy covers new purchases.

Premium residential$5/GB$4/GB from 1,000 GB ($4,000)$5 for 1 GBNo

All four products bill by traffic, not by IP. If your workload needs static IPs held for months, DataImpulse is the wrong shelf: it sells no ISP or per-IP product at all. Our datacenter vs residential vs ISP comparison covers when that matters.

Residential proxy pricing

The residential pool is DataImpulse's main product: 90M+ IPs across 195+ countries, a 99.51% advertised success rate and ~1 second average response, sourced first-party through DataImpulse's own bandwidth-sharing app rather than resold from aggregators.

TierPriceTrafficPer GB
Intro$55 GB$1.00
Basic$5050 GB$1.00
Advanced$8001 TB$0.80
Custom+from $4,0005 TB+negotiated

The Advanced tier is a 20% volume discount and adds a dedicated account manager. Custom+ pricing is negotiated with sales for 5 TB and above. Between $50 and $800 there is no intermediate tier; you either stack Basic packs at $1/GB or jump to the 1 TB commitment.

Country targeting is included in the per-GB rate. City, state, ZIP, ASN and geohash targeting cost double the standard rate while in use, per DataImpulse's parameter documentation, so a $1/GB residential crawl with city targeting enabled bills at $2/GB for the traffic that uses it.

Datacenter proxy pricing

Datacenter traffic is the cheapest product: 20M server IPs in 195+ locations with sub-100 ms latency and 99.9% uptime, according to DataImpulse's published metrics.

TierPriceTrafficPer GB
Intro$510 GB$0.50
Basic$50100 GB$0.50
Advanced$4501 TB$0.45
Custom+from $2,2505 TB+negotiated

Sticky datacenter sessions hold an IP for up to 30 minutes. Datacenter also supports authentication by IP whitelist alongside the default username/password, which the residential product handles through the dashboard as well.

Mobile proxy pricing

Mobile IPs come from a 16M+ pool of carrier addresses (3G, 4G, 5G, LTE) across 195 countries, with sticky sessions held for up to 120 minutes.

TierPriceTrafficPer GB
Intro$52.5 GB$2.00
Basic$5025 GB$2.00
Advanced$1,6001 TB$1.60
Custom+from $8,0005 TB+negotiated

At $2/GB, DataImpulse's mobile rate undercuts most of the market. Floppydata charges the same $1/GB rate for mobile as for residential if you buy its combined product, but its $1 rate buys 30-day traffic and its non-expiring rate is $1.50/GB. DataImpulse's $2/GB never expires. Which one is cheaper depends on how fast you burn the balance.

Premium residential pricing

Premium Residential is the high-grade pool: cleaner IP reputations, more stable connections, and the same first-party sourcing, aimed at targets that reject ordinary residential exits.

TierPriceTrafficPer GB
Intro$51 GB$5.00
Basic$5010 GB$5.00
Custom$4,0001,000 GB$4.00

At $4 to $5/GB this product competes with Bright Data's core residential rates, and only makes sense on targets where the $1/GB pool fails.

Worked examples: what you actually pay

Prices only matter against a workload. Here are three, using the tiers above.

A 100 GB per month residential crawl. Two Basic packs cost $100, and unused traffic survives quiet months. A subscription provider at the same usage resets what you don't consume, so the effective gap widens if your volume is uneven. At a steady 1 TB per month, the Advanced tier brings the bill to $800.

A 500 GB datacenter job, one-off. Five Basic packs cost $250 at $0.50/GB. The same job on residential would cost $500. If the target does not check ASN reputation, the datacenter product does the same work for half the price.

Ad verification across 40 countries at 20 GB per month. Country targeting is included, so the rate stays $1/GB: $20 per month on residential, $10 on datacenter, $40 on mobile. Turning on city targeting for a metro-level check doubles the rate only while that parameter is in use, per DataImpulse's docs.

DataImpulse vs IPRoyal and Bright Data cost table

How those rates land against the two providers we most often compare on price. IPRoyal and Bright Data figures are from their official pricing pages, November 2026; both providers publish tiered pricing, so the entry and volume rates bracket the range.

WorkloadDataImpulseIPRoyalBright Data
Residential, 10 GB$10 ($1/GB)$52.50 subscription ($5.25/GB)$40 at the $4/GB PAYG promo (list $8/GB)

Residential, 1 TB$800 ($0.80/GB)$1.75/GB custom tier, published from 10 TB$1,999/mo Enterprise (798 GB at $2.50/GB)
Datacenter, 100 GB$50 ($0.50/GB)per-IP instead: from $1.39/IP (90-day), 100 GB/mo per IP$0.60/GB PAYG ($60)
Mobile, 25 GB$50 ($2/GB)~$150 ($6.00/GB at the 10 GB tier)no public mobile rate (sales only)
Traffic expirynevernever (residential, mobile PAYG)resets monthly

Read the table with both caveats in mind. IPRoyal's advertised $1.75/GB bulk rate is a custom tier published from 10 TB, and Bright Data's committed plans bundle monthly GB that reset. DataImpulse's advantage is the flat rate at small volumes and the fact that every purchased gigabyte survives until you spend it. Our IPRoyal pricing guide and Bright Data pricing guide break down their tiers in full.

What the price does not include

  • ISP or static residential IPs. No per-IP product exists. Workloads that need one fixed address for weeks (account management, sneaker checkouts) need another provider.
  • A scraping API. DataImpulse sells traffic only. If you want rendering, retries and parsing handled for you, that is a ScraperAPI or Evomi Scraper API purchase.
  • City targeting at the base rate. The $1/GB headline applies to country-level targeting; city, state, ZIP, ASN and geohash parameters bill at 2x while active.
  • SLAs. Support is 24/7 and a dedicated account manager arrives at the Advanced tier, but there is no enterprise SLA tier published.

How to pay less on DataImpulse

  1. Match the product to the target. Datacenter at $0.50/GB succeeds on targets that do not check ASN class. Routing easy domains through it halves the bill.
  2. Skip targeting parameters you don't need. The 2x multiplier on city/ZIP/ASN only bills while the parameter is in use; run geo-precise crawls separately from bulk ones.
  3. Buy 1 TB when your monthly volume passes ~850 GB. Below that, stacked Basic packs at $1/GB cost less than the $800 commitment.
  4. Use the 7-day refund window. The refund policy covers new purchases for 7 days; test a small pack on your real target before loading the balance.

Frequently Asked Questions

DataImpulse charges $1/GB for residential, $0.50/GB for datacenter, $2/GB for mobile and $5/GB for premium residential on pay-as-you-go tiers (verified November 2026). Volume tiers drop residential to $0.80/GB at 1 TB, datacenter to $0.45/GB, mobile to $1.60/GB and premium to $4/GB from 1,000 GB. There are no monthly subscriptions.

No. Every DataImpulse product is pay-as-you-go and purchased traffic never expires, on all tiers. This differs from subscription providers that reset unused bandwidth monthly, and from Floppydata, whose $1/GB rate buys traffic valid for 30 days (its non-expiring rate is $1.50/GB).

$5. The Intro tier on every product costs $5: 5 GB residential, 10 GB datacenter, 2.5 GB mobile or 1 GB premium residential. New purchases are covered by a 7-day refund policy.

At small and mid volumes, yes. DataImpulse residential is a flat $1/GB from the first gigabyte, while IPRoyal's published entry is $7.00/GB at 1 GB and $5.25/GB at 10 GB on subscription. At very large committed volumes IPRoyal's custom tier reaches $1.75/GB, but that rate is published from 10 TB, and below 1 TB DataImpulse's flat rate is cheaper. IPRoyal also sells per-IP datacenter and ISP products DataImpulse does not offer.

No, country targeting is included in the standard rate on every product. City, state, ZIP, ASN and geohash targeting are billed at double the standard rate while the parameter is in use, according to DataImpulse's parameter documentation.

There is no free traffic. The $5 Intro tier on each product plus the 7-day refund policy on new purchases is the cheapest way to test: buy 5 GB of residential, run your real target, and request a refund within 7 days if the success rate is not acceptable.

Two mechanisms. Sticky proxy ports (10000 to 20000) bind an IP for a rotation interval you set between 1 and 120 minutes, defaulting to 30. Alternatively, the sessid parameter in the proxy username holds a specific IP for about 30 minutes. Both are included in the per-GB rate.
